3x3 is an observatory documentary following a Speed Cubing tournament and a former national champion of the Rubix Cube speed based sport. This was an incredible experience to document, and getting to bring the atmosphere of the competition to life -with the sound expertise I gained on this project - had an incredible effect on my skills as a film maker.

I was fortunate enough to both be a boom operator and record the stars lines at the same time using an F4 recorder, and used the multiple rode shotgun microphones I brought to the competition to make an incredible sound library for the documentary. Of which the sound library was fully labelled, colour coded, and annotated for the director (Emma Coe).
